For elk, the property is in the Southwest Desert Limited Entry Elk Unit and is also near the Pine Valley General Any Bull Elk Unit. The Southwest Desert Unit (Indian Peaks Range) is a popular draw unit as some of the biggest bulls in the state can come from here. For antelope, the property is also in the Southwest Desert Pronghorn Antelope Unit.
